Dear Ria,
I'm so sorry to hear you're having trouble with the posts on your album. We design the albums and other products, but are not involved in the manufacturing at all. The best way to find an answer to your question is to take your album to a store that sells scrapbooking supplies. They will have a lot of experience with expandable albums. Another idea is to contact Customer Service at K&Co:

I just bought the Small Wonders girl 12x12 scrapbook--and everything to go with it--love it. However, I have spent the past hour trying to get one of the three posts out (to add in more pages) AND I CAN"T DO IT. Is this book not meant to be expandable? What is the trick? I have done all kinds of albums in the past but never encountered this. HELP!??
