One of my favorite shops, Fleuri, recently celebrated thirteen successful years in business. From the day I discovered it, I’ve loved Fleuri for its Parisian-inspired offerings, beautifully styled by owner Sonia Moreno and her sister Sylvia. There’s oodles of inspiration in every corner of this shop!
A gorgeous antique iron bed is all dressed up in a ruffled linen spread, accented with a generous collection of toile pillows. The “Paris” wall hanging is printed on heavy canvas. Sylvia fills the store with treasures like these from her frequent excursions to Paris flea markets.
The shop is brilliantly styled both by theme and by color. This tablescape (left) incorporates shades of cobalt blue with accents of yellow, featuring vintage English and French china. A striped silk ribbon is draped across the table, decorated with gold hand-written script.
The Children’s Room exudes sweetness with a welcoming iron daybed, vintage clothing and ornate mirrors. This lovely wall-hanging (right) is made using a cardstock heart shape, gathered crepe paper border, and glittered script writing.
The cream linen lampshade (left) is embellished with burlap, cotton and linen bows.
With the recent addition of antique treasures from Nicole Turner of French Hen fame, the spirit of Paris is alive and well at Fleuri, 7301 Fair Oaks Boulevard, Carmichael, CA 95608, phone: 916.973.9848.
